On April 2, 1994, two women came together to create an organization that fit their needs as Latinas at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus. The women discussed their ideas and goals for such an organization. It was on that day that DELTA TAU LAMBDA SORORITY INC was founded.

Since 1994 DTL members have committed themselves to the empowerment of the organization and their communities. Delta Tau Lambda has been recognized on campuses and communities as a strong organization. It has been the hard work, pride and dedication of our members that has helped bring about excellence to every endeavor we do.
